Boeing is seeking an ISS Logistics Manager to join our team in Houston, TX.

In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for on-orbit logistics and ground logistics support of all hardware sustained under the ISS contract. The Manager translates the Statement of Work into annual plans, ensures spares accountability, oversees manifesting and shipping, directs supportability planning, and maintains logistics data systems.  This role will coach and develop engineers and technicians, drive continuous improvement in logistics processes, uphold the highest standards for quality and safety, and work cross-functionally with engineering.  Apply now to lead the team that continues to provide logistics support to the ISS.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Provide oversight for On Orbit Planning and Execution:

  • Maintain On-Orbit Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Data Collection

  • Maintain Logistics Support Analysis Records and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns

  • MER Console

Provide oversight for Ground Planning and Execution:

  • Demand Analysis

  • Material Management

  • Residual Asset Management

  • Shipping & Logistics Execution

  • Manifesting for sustained hardware

  • Spares tracking and planning

Provide oversight for Data Systems including ensuring GOL Desp and Info Center operations, admin, and sustainment:

  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular status, risk, and schedule to NASA and Boeing leadership

Team Leadership:

  • Hire, develop, and retain high-performing staff; conduct performance reviews; promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 8+ years relevant experience in aerospace/logistics/sustainment with at least 4 years in a leadership role

  • Experience translating SOW/contract requirements into annual plans, schedules, WBS, and deliverables

  • Proven knowledge of spares management, manifesting, shipping regulations

  • Experience with logistics databases and data systems

  • Familiarity with relevant ISS/space sustainment guidance

NASA Access:

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Summary pay range: $141,950 - $192,050
