The Inventory Data & Reporting Analyst leads data-driven inventory optimization and reporting initiatives, transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and financial performance. This role owns the analytical framework for inventory management across third-party logistics (3PL) providers and internal systems, serving as the strategic data partner while driving cross-functional analytics projects that directly impact business outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain supply chain inventory risk assessment models.
Design and execute statistical analyses to optimize cycle count processes and reporting, and monitor inventory turnover, with predictive alerting capabilities.
Create executive-level dashboards and KPI frameworks that provide real-time visibility into inventory performance across all channels.
Integrate data pipelines connecting NetSuite, WMS, and external data sources for comprehensive inventory analytics.
Lead data governance initiatives and set up monitoring to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across all inventory-related systems.
Assist the Director of Inventory & Financial Mgmt in the development of data-driven inventory control strategies that align with broader business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using analytics to identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction.
Conduct sophisticated root cause analyses using statistical methods to identify systemic issues and develop predictive models that prevent future occurrences.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or related quantitative field; 4+ years of experience in data analysis.
Expertise in statistical software (R, Python, SQL) and advanced data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Proven experience with machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and time-series forecasting.
Background in Lean Six Sigma methodology with demonstrated project leadership experience.
Background in ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce preferred) with ability to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
Advanced knowledge of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.
Experience presenting analytical findings to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
Knowledge of inventory accounting principles, SOX compliance, and financial impact modeling.
Professional certifications in data analytics (e.g., SAS, Tableau, Google Analytics) or supply chain management (APICS, CSCMP).
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
