POSITION SUMMARY
This position is an integral part of the Inventory team, being the primary resource who is responsible for coordinating and executing product transport between facilities and internal moves within the Distribution Center. This person will also be the primary contact for trouble shooting and resolution for other DC department staff who are experiencing inventory issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Transporting Products (30%)
- Responsible for completing scheduled LW moves for order fulfillment
- Including Meritex caves facility and Service Center.
- Responsible for daily KS moves from external location (Meritex) for order fulfillment.
- RGA Coordination
- Works with Service Center to retrieve product & process returned goods back into stock.
- Coordinate with inbound team for overflow storage off-site (Meritex and/or storage trailers).
- Designated driver for Ford F-150 and back up for the Box Truck.
- Responsible for fueling and coordinating service with Inventory Supervisor.
Inventory & Quality Team Duties (70%)
- Responsible for all Quality Moves into and out of KSHD and quality racks.
- Follow the direction of the Product and Channel teams regarding excess and obsolete inventory.
- Perform all cycle counts and monthly counts on high dollar items in off-site storage locations.
- Contact for other DC departments and teams for inventory issues, trouble shooting, and resolution.
- Conduct high quantity/dollar research on the floor as needed.
- Active participant in daily team meetings with Inventory/Quality team
- Kitting Production as needed.
- Maintain all documentation regarding quality holds
- Track and maintain documentation regarding truck schedule (pick-ups and deliveries).
- Ability to train others and use forklift, reach truck, and order picker.
CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
-Overall knowledge of Distribution Center functionality from Inbound to Outbound.
-Strong technical ability and comprehension
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Proficiency with MS Office software; especially Excel and Outlook
-Working knowledge of ERP systems

- Strong working knowledge of a Distribution Center
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-2 years’ experience in Inventory Control preferred
-Previous experience in a Distribution Center environment and familiarity with DC operations
-Material Handling certification preferred
-Must be able to pass DOT physical
-Must have clean driving record
WORKING CONDITIONS
-Distribution center environment including exposure to material handling equipment
-Will be on your feet most of the day
oThis is not a sedate position, must be able to maintain an active pace throughout the day
-Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
-Able to safely drive company vehicle in variant weather conditions
-Regular PC use at desk on warehouse floor
