Responsibilities

  • Establishes robust performance metrics to measure, compare, and evaluate critical factors affecting inventory management
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive inventories with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all material records
  • Conducts in-depth analysis of current inventory systems and procedures, proactively recommending strategic improvements to streamline the supply chain and boost company profitability
  • Vigilantly monitors inventory levels and usage patterns through detailed reports, ensuring reordering points remain optimized for business needs
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and implements complex cross-functional solutions to enhance inventory control processes across departments
  • Develops and deploys proactive processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specifically designed to minimize inventory shortages and optimize stock levels
  • Serves as a critical liaison between Purchasing and Planning departments, identifying potential shortages or risks before they impact production
  • Reviews Purchase Price Variances (PPVs) alongside Purchasing team members and communicates findings effectively to Finance stakeholders
  • Provides expert guidance and support to Warehouse personnel during Physical Inventory (P.I.) preparation and coordination activities​

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Administration
  • 2+ Years’ Experience in Purchasing, Planning or Related departments.

 

Skills

  • Understanding of statistical analysis and parts forecasting methodologies.
  • ERP Systems and MRP Functionality is a must.
