Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

About the role 

The Food & Beverage Intern supports the F&B team in delivering exceptional guest experiences across various outlets, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banqueting. This internship provides a comprehensive, hands-on learning opportunity in a fast-paced hospitality environment, allowing the intern to gain practical knowledge of food service operations, guest interaction, and teamwork. Ideal for hospitality students or recent graduates seeking real-world experience in a dynamic and service-driven industry.  

What you will do 

  • Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.     

  • Polish silverware, refill condiment containers and crumb tables.   

  • Stock linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.  

  • Breakdown, clean and set-up buffets and food stations.     

  • Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.    

  • Greet guests, provide water, bread and butter service conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.   

  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.     

  • Develop and present a project work to reinforce training.  

What you bring 

  • Education: Student currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality or a related field.  

  • Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for guest service and curiosity about the hospitality industry. 

  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent personal presentation and communication abilities, with confidence in interacting with guests and colleagues. 

  • Team spirit: Collaborative mindset and willingness to support different areas of the department when needed. 

  • Flexibility: Availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

  • Language proficiency: Clear written and verbal communication skills, in English and Spanish. 

  • Physical ability: Capacity to lift, carry, and balance trays or equipment safely and effectively during service operations. 

  • Professionalism: Commitment to upholding Four Seasons standards of quality, courtesy, and service excellence. 

  • Legal right to work in Spain.  

 

Degree: Professional /Technician. 

Languages: Spanish / English. 

Language Ability: High.

Schedule & Hours: Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
