Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Ethical Hacker Intern to join our pen testing team. As an Ethical Hacker Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities, testing security measures, and working with state-of-the-art tools. This internship is ideal for individuals eager to develop practical skills in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and penetration testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on networks, applications, and systems.
Research and report on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
Document findings, prepare reports, and present actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with product team members to propose and implement mitigation solutions.
Participate in red team/blue team exercises and cybersecurity simulations.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and platforms (such as Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Wireshark) is a plus.
Demonstrated programming/scripting skills (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning about cybersecurity.
Ethical mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
