International Strategic Response Manager, EMEA

San Mateo, CA, United States Full Time

Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.

At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.

A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.

As International Strategic Response Manager (EMEA), you will play a critical role in ensuring Roblox remains operational and compliant in markets within the EMEA region by coordinating high-priority regulatory requests. You’ll partner closely with regional/country leaders to manage execution — triaging various requests, tracking progress through resolution, and signaling when cross-functional communication or escalation is appropriate.

This role sits at the intersection of International, Policy, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams, requiring exceptional program management, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in our San Mateo Headquarters, reporting to the Head of International Strategy and Ops. Expected working hours are 6:00am to 12:00pm Pacific in order to align with time zones in EMEA.

You Will:

  • Manage end-to-end execution of inbound regulatory requests, ensuring timely triage, stakeholder alignment, and resolution tracking.
  • Work alongside the regional heads and country managers to provide real-time visibility into ongoing issues, risks, and outcomes within your region.
  • Serve as the operational hub connecting Policy, Legal, Product Policy, Safety Ops, and Engineering to ensure clear ownership and consistent communication across all active response items.
  • Maintain and update tracking dashboards and documentation; flag when escalation or external communication is required.
  • Support development of a repeatable, scalable process for handling critical inbound requests across markets. Help define SLAs, templates, and reporting standards.
  • Evaluate impact and risk of incoming issues, prioritizing based on regulatory exposure, user impact, and operational urgency.
  • After resolution, document lessons learned and support continuous improvement of response frameworks, tooling, and workflows.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in program or project management, policy operations, trust & safety, or regulatory response, ideally in a global or technology company.
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional incident or escalation workflows under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory dynamics in online platforms, digital media, or user-generated content environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and judgment in escalating sensitive issues.
  • Comfort working across multiple time zones and managing relationships in diverse cultural contexts.
  • High attention to detail, structured thinking, and ability to create clarity from ambiguity.
  • Experience with project tracking tools (Asana, Airtable, Jira, or similar).
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of cultural norms in any of the EMEA regions.
