Job Description

We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager, AP to be based in our Singapore office. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, you will lead and support our internal communications efforts for the Region. You will use communications tools, resources, and your own ingenuity to foster culture, connections, and business results.

Who we are looking for

You are a communications' expert who can jump in to identify what's working and what's not, thoughtfully advise leaders, and then be a creative problem solver to get things done. You'll work with our President, Asia Pacific, Public Affairs Director, Asia Pacific and the Asia Pacific Regional leadership team to bring your best ideas to deliver meaningful content and be on a constant quest for excellence. You will work with everyone, from these business leaders and teams and their director level and above employees in Asia Pacific, to drive meaningful, positive change, connecting people to our culture, each other, and to our strategy. You will use data to inform your decisions and storytelling to engage those around you. You may also support external communications in the Region.

What you will do

  • You will be:
    • An important voice for employees and our communications strategy for the Asia Pacific leadership team
    • A leader to help shape our employees' experience for the better
    • A creator of high-quality content across all internal digital and printed channels
    • A individual contributor on a global team with impact
    • Support planning, communications and delivery of quarterly global employee town hall meetings, including run-of-show documents, talking points, presentations, and post-event messaging. Work with executive leadership and event production teams to produce hybrid meetings.
    • Develop communication plans, messaging, and announcements for organizational changes and leadership appointments.
    • Co-ordinate with other regional communications teams to ensure messages to and about Asia Pacific are accurate, timely and clear.
  • You will partner with:
    • Main Asia Pacific leaders and people across their teams, the Corporate Communications team, Marketing and PR teams, the Public Affairs team, Human Resources, and Talent to focus on the messaging that will inform and inspire employees in the AP Region.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English language is critical and foundational to the role.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin language
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mass communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience in a range of communication roles; This can include corporate, agency or consulting experiences involving strategic planning and tactical implementation, creative and conceptual communications, project management, or business-focused employee communications roles.
  • Experience developing multi-channel communications and change management programmes.
  • Collaborator and team player with the ability to navigate a complex, global organisation.
  • Experience working across cultures in Asia Pacific
