Project Title:

Metrology Development and Data Analytics for Process Optimization

Project Description:

The objective of this project is to design and implement data-driven methodologies that enhance measurement accuracy and process control in semiconductor manufacturing. The intern will analyze large datasets from metrology tools, identify trends, develop automation workflows, and create data analytics dashboards. The project also includes exploring artificial intelligence integration to improve efficiency in existing workflows.
This opportunity provides exposure to advanced analytics, metrology techniques in cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing, and collaboration across multiple engineering teams.


Project Scope:

  • Learn metrology techniques and statistical analysis applied in advanced semiconductor processes

  • Build automation workflows to improve efficiency and develop dashboards using Tableau/Python for trend visualization

  • Gain hands-on experience with semiconductor process flows and measurement systems

  • Understand how metrology insights integrate into manufacturing decision-making across multiple engineering teams. Find opportunities to introduce AI concepts to improve existing workflows or provide new solutions.

    Deliverable:

    Develop solutions that combine metrology expertise with data science and automation systems to improve workflow efficiency or introduce new inline detection capabilities.

    Skillset Require:

    • Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes; familiarity with metrology techniques preferred

    • Proficiency in Python for data analysis

    • Understanding of statistical methods and data visualization tools.
