Overview

Adams Street Partners is actively seeking a part-time, quarterly intern to join its Investor Relations team. This position will assist the Tokyo Investor Relations team with quarterly client reporting. This is a part-time, intermittent role, with a three-week commitment once per quarter end (March, June, September, and December). This role requires exceptional organizational and data entry skills. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally possesses an infectious enthusiasm for his/her work and exudes positivity with an insatiable desire to learn our business and support others. This is a role based in our Tokyo office.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Tokyo Investor Relations team in quarterly client reporting
  • Data entry into formats specified by the client in Japanese

Requirements

At Adams Street, we hold ourselves to high standards and expect the same of our internship applicants. Ideal candidates must have a genuine interest in alternative investments. Additional characteristics of a successful Intern at our firm are:

  • Strong academic credentials with a major in finance, accounting, economics, or related studies preferred
  • Strong command and sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially in Excel
  • Financial sector knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrable initiative, commitment toward excellence in work and great attention-to-detail
  • Team-oriented mindset with a heavy emphasis on written and verbal communication
  • Self-disciplined, takes accountability and operates with high integrity
  • Fluency in Japanese and Working Proficiency in English would be preferred
