We are looking for an aspiring Intern, Content Acquisition & Partnerships based in our Seoul office. This position is open to recent graduates or experienced professionals looking to start and/or develop a career in the evolving OTT/entertainment industry. The new hire will be given an opportunity to become a full-time employee with us, subject to the assessment of performance for the internship period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities:
Support content licensing and any related deals from market research, updating information, initial evaluation of content to post-launch tasks
Be the point of contact for external partners she/he is responsible for particularly in relation to asset delivery/management and promotions
Collaborate with Viki’s cross-functional teams including content planning, operations, legal, finance, and marketing
Required Qualifications:
Must be fluent in both English and Korean
Strong interest and knowledge in Korean and Asian content with analytical thinking
Excellent interpersonal skills
Meticulous approach to work, ideally with experience in reviewing and drafting contracts, to ensure precision in our legal documentation processes
Able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Japanese and/or Thai is good to have, but not mandatory
