Position purpose:

Designs and implements recruitment strategies, as well as liaison and recruitment activities, for all of the programs supported by the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS) in order to maximize outreach and attract the very best students. Organizes and leads promotional campaigns, generates web content and develops communication plans to project a positive image of the CNFS and the university, promote its brand and increase its visibility. *With possibility of renewal.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaison and Recruitment Activities: Develops and implements innovative recruitment strategies for all of CNFS’s targeted programs in order to attract future students to the University and achieve the CNFS’s recruitment objectives.
  • Event Promotion and Management: Organizes student recruitment and other special events in order to project a positive image of the CNFS and/or University.
  • Marketing: Develops and implements marketing strategies for the CNFS based on digital marketing best practices and trends.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum five years of demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Ability to develop recruitment and student retention strategies
  • Knowledge of challenges facing francophone communities in Canada, particularly in the education and health sector
  • Significant experience in participating in promotional activities such as career fairs, open door events and information sessions
  • Experience using social media as a promotion tool
  • Customer service experience as a resource person
  • Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and experience in applying them
  • Knowledge of the Canadian university sector and its administrative structures
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems and software including graphic design and web applications, spreadsheets, databases, the internet and email
  • Recent experience giving presentations to varied audiences
  • Experience planning and organizing events
  • Project management experience
  • Strong public relations, interpersonal and communication skills (judgement, tact and diplomacy)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally travel outside of the city for recruitment activities
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours
  • Excellent mastery of the French language (spoken and written) and strong ability in English
