Integration Technician III

$56,200 - $65,000 Depending on Experience

8:30am to 5:00pm

Assembles, installs, and configures comprehensive hardware and software. Uses diagnostics to perform testing on configured or assembled computers and related type products. Troubleshoots problems and perform repairs for the product, work with customer and sales to understand business requirement and perform the basic POC orders, support the production line within the department. Follows ISO process and procedures to perform the technician job.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs, configures, tests, calibrates, and diagnoses complex computer hardware and software; assembles related equipment following work instructions.

  • Install, test, and perform QA on hardware and software across laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment.

  • Troubleshoot complex problems that occur while performing configurations and assists technicians in solving installation and testing issues.

  • Provides local first and second level technical support to the Integration Center.

  • Provide product specification, product configuration and details of service offerings to both internal associates and TD SYNNEX customers when required, review and verify SOW (Statement of Work)/WI (Work Instruction)/SRF (Service Request Form) and create proper internal documentation as required

  • Managing Customer Images (Testing and Documenting imaging deployment Procedures)

  • Managing and maintaining Integration center’s Servers and Network infrastructure (VLAN switching) and Offer expert-level technical support, sometimes leading teams to resolve high-complexity issues.

  • Refurbish product including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product

  • Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing

  • Trains, mentors and provides guidance to technicians.

  • Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings and diagrams

  • Log and track orders using established procedures.

  • Work with lead technician and engineers to continue improve the workflow and work instructions

  • Assists in the assembly process as directed.

  • Communicates and escalates problems to management.

  • Attends and completes continuous ISO training and comprehensive new technology training for new software and hardware releases.

  • Documents and utilizes ISO processes and procedures. Review complex configuration work quality and report quality specs/performance as needed

  • Prepare technical reports

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Tests troubleshoot complex configuration desktop, laptop, monitor and computer related accessories, assist bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, tablet, LCD monitor, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience

  • Cisco: CCNA/CCNP Microsoft: MCSA/MCSE, Server+, relevant OEM certs from HPI, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Cisco are preferred

  • A+ certification or equivalent certification/experience is required

  • College/University or equivalent certifications/experience in computer and network related area is required

  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Able to constructively work under pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

  • Wil maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Uses relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level.

  • Ability to transport 50 Lbs.

Working Conditions:

  • Clean room environment requiring ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection.

  • Consistent non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • Distribution center environment may include (but not limited to): exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions.
