The Specialist, Instrument Logistics works closely with the various business units to meet sales objectives related to instrument installation. In addition, he is responsible for coordinating a number of activities related to instrument uninstallations and returns, service calls as well as evaluations / demos to promote our instruments. He must know the organization very well in order to guide the sales and service teams by acting quickly in unusual situations and proposing solutions in order to always support the customer's needs. The actions that are taken are of major importance because of the impact they have on the course of the instrument installation process.
The Opportunity:
Coordinate instrument installation logistics by collaborating with sales, technical teams, and other organizational groups, ensuring all necessary resources and solutions are in place.
Support sales and technical teams with guidance, information sharing, and education on operational best practices.
Address questions related to instruments, installations, billing, and inventory, while mitigating potential financial impacts.
Manage complaint escalation processes and oversee corrective, preventive, and improvement actions.
Handle forecasting of instrument needs and submit monthly facility forecasts to global teams.
Manage product ordering with suppliers, resolving issues such as backorders, and oversee used instrument handling, returns, and disposals to optimize storage costs.
Oversee and maintain the instrument database, while developing and maintaining business processes for logistics, installations, and uninstallations.
In this position, you will be in contact with colleagues across Canada, so a proficient level of English and fluency in French is required
Who you are:
You hold a DEC / Diploma of Collegial Studies or BA
You have 5-7 years of materiel management or service support experience
Tactical thinking and influence
You will be managing priorities with a strong sense of urgency, strong business acumen, strong organizational skills and the ability to embrace change
You have a strong analytical skills
You have MS Office applications (advanced knowledge of Excel) & SAP
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) an asset
Continuous improvement certification an asset

Coordonner la logistique des installations d’instruments en collaborant avec les équipes commerciales, techniques et les autres groupes de l’organisation, en veillant à ce que toutes les ressources nécessaires et les solutions soient en place.
Soutenir les équipes commerciales et techniques en leur fournissant des conseils, des échanges d’informations et une formation sur les meilleures pratiques opérationnelles.
Répondre aux questions liées aux instruments, aux installations, à la facturation et à l’inventaire, tout en atténuant les impacts financiers potentiels.
Gérer les processus d’escalade des plaintes et superviser les actions correctives, préventives et d’amélioration.
Gérer les prévisions des besoins en instruments et soumettre des prévisions mensuelles des installations aux équipes mondiales.
Gérer les commandes de produits auprès des fournisseurs, résoudre les problèmes tels que les ruptures de stock et superviser la gestion, le retour ou la destruction des instruments usagés pour optimiser les coûts de stockage.
Superviser et maintenir la base de données des instruments tout en développant et en maintenant les processus opérationnels pour la logistique, les installations et les désinstallations.
Qui vous êtes
Vous détenez un DEC / Diplôme d'Études Collégiales ou un baccalauréat.
Vous avez 5 à 7 ans d'expérience en gestion de matériel ou en soutien aux services.
Vous possédez une pensée tactique et une capacité d'influence.
Vous gérez les priorités avec un fort sens de l'urgence, un esprit d'affaires développé, de solides compétences organisationnelles et la capacité d'adopter le changement.
Vous avez de solides compétences analytiques.
Vous maîtrisez les applications MS Office (connaissance avancée d’Excel) et SAP.
La certification APICS (CPIM ou CSCP) est un atout.
Une certification en amélioration continue est un atout.
Dans ce poste, vous serez en contact avec des collègues dans tout le Canada. Par conséquent, un niveau d’anglais suffisant est requis et la maîtrise du français est requise.
