Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Inside Account Manager (iAM) to drive sales for Print and Personal Systems (PS) within the Public Sector segment. This role owns a direct business territory and operates independently without a field sales counterpart. The iAM is responsible for proactively engaging with customers, initiating sales conversations, and guiding prospects through the entire sales process. Success in this role requires strong product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with public sector clients.
Responsibilities
Own and manage a direct business territory within the Public Sector, driving revenue growth and meeting assigned quotas.
Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and virtual meetings, to generate and qualify leads.
Develop a deep understanding of Print and PS solutions, staying current on product updates and enhancements.
Apply consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions aligned with public sector requirements.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to decision-makers.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and customer support.
Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and public sector procurement processes to adapt sales strategies.
Provide regular updates and reports on territory performance, opportunities, and challenges.
Education & Experience Recommended
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Typically 6–8 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or a related field.
Experience selling to public sector clients is highly preferred.

Salary:
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $32.5 to $46.3 USD per hour with
a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix. Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
