Infrastructure Strategy Student Assistant
100% Remote within California, Must reside in California

What You’ll Do
The Infrastructure Strategy (IS) Student Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative assistance and day-to-day support to the Infrastructure Strategy Department and other back-office teams. The IS Student Assistant will perform a wide variety of functions to support the department's activities, including, but not limited to, projects following the project lifecycle for back-office teams and other adjacent departments and programs as needed. The IS Student Assistant will support the HR Department with meeting organization. Partners with the Communications team around intranet process improvement and SharePoint design. Provide services while delivering excellent customer service, accuracy, responsiveness, and positive relationship building in a fast-paced environment. Effectively collaborate with other Foundation departments and program areas to help meet the goals of the Infrastructure Strategy department.
Triage support for JIRA IS Help Desk tickets for all back-office departments.
Supports the coordination and manage action items and follow-ups from meetings, ensuring timely completion and communication with necessary stakeholders.
Supports notetaking during various meetings, ensuring accurate capture of decisions, action items, and key takeaways.
Review and refresh projects in both task management platforms and spreadsheets developing processes and structures to help track day-to-day projects and key project deliverables and milestones.
Supports the IS Team in providing capacity related to project management, process improvement, administration around key cross-functional projects, including:
Strategic planning
Change Management
Infrastructure communications
Document library oversight related to workgroups and SharePoint
Actively participate in project related workgroups, IS projects, and audits.
Attributes for Success
Must be a currently enrolled student at a higher education institution.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a customer service-oriented environment required; office environment preferred.
Must be currently enrolled at an accredited College or University and carrying a minimum of six (6) semester units or nine (9) quarter units and a minimum of 2.0 GPA.
Majoring in Organizational Leadership, or a business-related field preferred.
Previous experience in project management preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, from C-suite professionals to inexperienced youth.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when representing the Infrastructure Strategy Department and the Foundation professionally.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project charters.
Experience with project management tools such as Asana is a plus.
Ability to prepare, proofread, interpret, distribute, and maintain specified routine and complex documents.
Exhibits the strong ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time to meet deliverables.
Strong initiative and follow-through skills.
