About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Engineering Associate Manager
In this role, you will:
- Supervise a team of engineers that designs, documents, tests, maintains and provides issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication or directory services, email, internet, applications or endpoint security
- Oversee security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information security policy, and standards
- Identify current or emerging security vulnerabilities or issues, perform risk assessments and evaluate remediation alternatives
- Lead computer security incident response activities for highly complex events, conduct technical investigation of security-related incidents, and conduct post-incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
- Review and correlate security logs
- Implement components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
- Interface with more experienced technologists and may interface with management
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security Architecture
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of Leadership experience
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Information Security Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Help the team in handling day to day operational challenges related to incident handling and escalating to another group.
- The person selected will be responsible to help the team, rapidly assessing security incidents, identify operations and tool issues (e.g., case floods, false positives, sensor anomalies, etc.), and coordinate the resolutions with concerned groups.
- Work with CTFC-T2, and TDS team, in addressing any outstanding investigations /Issues/Concerns.
- Rapidly assesses and communicates potential risk to senior leadership and lines of business and coordinates the detection and mitigation of information security incidents.
- Collects, analyzes, and presents information from multiple information sources to provide near real-time awareness and a common operating view of the environment.
- Responsible to create consolidated weekly report for CTFC to be shared with Management.
- Ensure trainings assigned are complete and the team members are compliant.
- Identify knowledge –sharing opportunities and process improvements.
- Collaborate with other teams and act quickly on the information gathered/discovered.
- Identify the required skills for fulfilling the deliverables in the required areas and upkeep the knowledge requirements from time-to-time.
- Participate in organizational initiatives that help mature the knowledge levels of the TMs.
- Drive and coach the team for high performance, Develop and maintain an accurate knowledge in the above-mentioned areas.
