Job Description:
DTN is seeking an experienced Customer Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services team and execute the successful deployment of our enterprise-grade SaaS and RaaS solutions for global customers. This role bridges the gap between DTN's customer technology implementation and business value realization, ultimately contributing to customer success and long-term retention.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, testing, and enabling customers on our offerings to ensure a seamless transition and rapid time-to-value. The position requires a combination of customer engagement skills, technical acumen, project management abilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure successful technical migrations and organizational adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration:
Work closely with customers to understand their unique business requirements, processes, and pain points
Translate customer needs into detailed designs and configuration plans for our solutions
Configure the platform to meet specific customer needs, including use cases, data mapping, integration, and workflow automation
Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate the implementation and ensure functionality meets or exceeds expectations
Execute implementation strategies tailored to customer objectives
Support the creation of comprehensive documentation for all services, including guidelines, best practices, and training materials
Customer Engagement & Project Management:
Collaborate with customers to understand and execute business objectives, technical migrations, and change management plans
Assist in developing project plans and RACIs for customer-specific implementation and adoption proposals
Lead customer meetings, daily stand-ups, and status updates
Identify and resolve issues that arise during implementation, integration, and adoption workstreams
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, roadblocks, or challenges that could impact successful deployment
Change Management & Training:
Lead change management plans designed to minimize disruption and maximize user acceptance at the customer
Provide thorough training and knowledge transfer to customer teams to enable self-sufficiency and long-term adoption
Train customers to use and leverage DTN systems and ensure usage and adoption metrics are achieved
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with project managers, transformation consultants, Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure coordinated delivery and consistent customer experience
Act as a liaison between customers and DTN teams to address concerns and escalate issues
Document all implementation details, decisions, and best practices to support ongoing system maintenance and future enhancements
Share feedback and insights with product and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement of our offerings
About you:
5+ years of hands-on experience implementing B2B SaaS or enterprise software solutions
Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and master new platforms and technologies
Demonstrated expertise in solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and validation
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex customer requirements
Proven project management experience, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution
Experience working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment with project managers, architects, users, and other stakeholders
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers at all levels
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
Customer-centric mindset, passionate about delivering value and enhancing the customer experience
Bachelor's degree required
Background in agriculture, energy, transportation, or weather-sensitive industries
Proficiency in service design and project management tools

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $56,250 and $75,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
