Job Description Summary

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the proper Operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems and
equipment. This includes but is not limited to: chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillary
support equipment, water treatment, controls and BMS/EMS.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modify
this position description from time to time to meet the needs of the site
and/or building(s)
Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems.
Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.
Respond to all HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the operational and comfort
needs of the building(s) occupants, where applicable.
Be proficient ¡n the functionality of the BMS/EMS and understand the sequences required for proper
building, equipment and system operations.
Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building
systems.
Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
Maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenance
program. .
Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs.
Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule.
Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures
and work instructions.
Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site specific equipment and systems.\
Ability to work in a team or with minimal supervision
Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $33.85 - $39.82
