What You Will Do
Perform a variety of basic repair, installation, and maintenance services, including but not limited to:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Camera Systems
- Card Access Systems
- Metasys (Building Automation)
- Code Blue Phones
- Other related building system products at customer sites
How You Will Do It
- Execute tasks on time and within allocated hours
- Work with the site manager to resolve discrepancies and coordinate solutions for system issues
- Manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Read and interpret software systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals
- Provide excellent customer service by consistently communicating with the site manager and customers to ensure satisfaction
- Complete project documentation promptly and submit to the site manager
- Adhere to all OSHA safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We Look For
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain any licenses required by national, state, and local codes
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50–70 lbs
- Able to work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lead and work well with team members
- Commitment to safety guidelines and procedures
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Preferred:
- Computer knowledge
- Basic understanding of networking
- Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meter usage, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23-$27(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
