Job Details:

Pay is $16.95 per hour.

Work Hours: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday 4:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Shift times and days may vary depending on Production needs. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends.  Holiday work maybe required at times.

MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.

MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Job requirements:

  • Must be able to work in cold/damp/warm conditions.

  • Must be able to lift/push 40 plus pounds.

  • Must always ensure safety and be responsible for keeping work area free of clutter and/or tripping hazard and always organized.

  • Must be able to perform machine checks such as, follow instructions and document findings.

  • Must be able to place eggs/hicks in trays, move tray.

  • Must be able to pull/place eggs/chicks, grade eggs/chicks, breakouts, wash trays and machines, clean/move buggies, place chicks in the houses, mix vaccine, dispense formaldehyde, run Embrex.

  • Must be able to obtain lockout tagout certification, forklift and moffett license, pass respiratory breathing test for use with Respirator. Must wear respirator when dispensing formaldehyde

    • (no beard (older than 24 hours) and if wear mustache must be cropped at corners of mouth for use with respirator).

  • Must be able to stand duration of shift. (Usually, 10 hours with two unpaid 30-minute breaks).

  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.

  • Includes lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, climbing, bending, reaching, rolling buggies, operate various pallet jacks.

TYPES OF EQUIPMENT/PPE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.

  • Gloves provided (if desired), Water/skid proof footwear, electric hand Jack

  • Wear PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard. (If desired).
