Strategic Consultation and Collaboration

  • Work closely with all leadership levels to align HR strategies with the business needs.

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to problem solve, coach and deliver solutions that address business gaps within assigned client group.

  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies that drive optimal team and operational performance.

  • Execute new initiatives and cyclical HR processes, lead and coach teams through change.

  • Work cross functionally with other team members and groups within the company.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the main point of contact for HR related matters for assigned managers and team members.

  • Provide guidance to managers and team members in response to HR related inquiries as well as the interpretation of Human Resources policies and procedures.

  • Conduct and resolve simple to complex workplace investigations involving highly sensitive matters including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other complaints and/or concerns brought forth by team members to document findings and provide recommendations on appropriate actions.

  • Works in conjunction with the Human Resource Business Partner team and legal counsel on issue resolution to ensure risk mitigation, consistent application across the company and litigation preparation.

  • Serve as an advocate to team members and people leaders alike, promoting HR best practices across policy drafting/implementation, employee performance, engagement, conflict resolution, etc.

  • Facilitate all internal job changes inclusive of wage increases, promotions, demotions, transfers, and terminations for assigned client group.

  • Partners with Benefits and Human Resource Business Partner team regarding FMLA and workplace ADA accommodation recommendations.

Talent and Performance Management

  • Review organizational structure with leaders to ensure appropriate alignment with business goals.

  • Assist leaders in writing effective performance improvement plans and other disciplinary actions to minimize company liability while safeguarding employee rights.

  • Implement solutions to solve critical staffing needs at all levels; ensure leaders drive the development culture to build their talent bench.

  • Ensure stability of teams through a focus on productivity and turnover at all levels.

  • Partners with the business and HR functional areas to assist in the creation of position-based job descriptions.

  • Assist in the facilitation of performance management routines, inclusive of 90-day performance review discussions, stay interviews, and the annual performance review process.

  • Participate and support HR initiatives and projects, as well as deliver training and presentations as assigned. Foster effective and consistent working relationships with coworkers, managers, and the general team member population.

HR Operations

  • Provide information as requested in response to HR Audits, Unemployment Compensation claims/ hearings and other requests.

  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the overall team member experience and recommend strategies to motivate and support team member engagement.

  • Write and maintain Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

  • Generate reports on general HR related activities and asses exit interview results.

  • Stay abreast with the latest Federal/State employment laws, HR best practices and trends.

  • Maintain confidentiality to the highest degree.

  • Other projects and duties assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Human Resources strongly preferred and 7+ years progressive HR experience working in a Human Resources Lead and/or Generalist function preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • HR Certification preferred (PHR or SHRM- CP)

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, and senior management.

  • Domestic Travel as needed to US field offices.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems preferably Workday.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global HR team.
