PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the creation, development, and execution of the HR digital strategy and tactics for ServiceNow HRSD product domain.

  • Consults with executive business leaders and provides recommendations on HR technology strategies and ensuing tactics.

  • Stays up to date on new HR technology and complimentary solutions to support the HR digital strategy.

  • Maintains a global mindset when providing and recommending solutions with a focus on a positive team member experience.

  • Manage, coach, develop, and provide direction to assigned staff (including remote management).

  • Collaborates across the enterprise to ensure HR systems support new processes/changes to provide the optimal team member experience.

  • Oversee system administration and development for ServiceNow HRSD product domain (case management, knowledge management, portal) as well as other Third-Party Systems supporting the HRSS service delivery model.

  • Leads system integrations or system enhancement projects.

  • Partners with other IT teams on governance and strategy and participates in the development of the overall ServiceNow platform strategy and roadmap

  • Superior stakeholder management: Interacts frequently with internal and external management and senior level customer representatives which may include HR, IT, Finance, Audit, Legal team members and vendors to determine strategic needs, defines functional/technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and implement initiatives.

  • Manages deployment and testing of system patches, new releases and enhancements. Creates and reviews specifications, creation of test scenarios, and oversees and supports testing of the system.

  • Provides system/project updates to stakeholders.

  • Guides Tier 2 Specialists to resolve complex technical issues raised by team members and managers

  • Maintains appropriate issue/project/enhancement tracking and manages issue resolution process. Supports the development of specific actions and recommendations to mitigate risk and resolve outstanding issues.

  • Creates, maintains, and delivers status reporting for related project activities to key stakeholders.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Requires deep understanding in fields such as human resources, computer science, information technology or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a post-graduate (MBA/Master’s) Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 12 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience; prior HR Technology experience required.

 

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

 

Preferred Qualifications: MBA or master’s degree in directly related field; at least 5-10 years directly related experience; at least 3-5+ years of experience with human resources information systems (HRIS); at least 3-5 years of experience in direct people management; experience in strategic consulting a plus

 

Demonstrated experience in designing/developing enterprise and global strategies for technology domain(s) with demonstrated consultative skills and ability to effectively facilitate groups to consensus.

 


Ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.


Deep working knowledge of various HRIS systems; direct work experience with ServiceNow HRSD a plus.


Deep understanding of HR business functions/end-to end processes, strategic imperatives, and project management.


Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong leadership skills including the ability to manage remote and global team members while developing, coaching, and increasing team capability, output, and performance.

 


Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology


Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in support of our global population; ability to communicate with customers, associates, and management; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.
