Job Overview :

The HR Lead – Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing HR operational processes, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency across HR systems and services. This role acts as a strategic partner to business units, managing employee lifecycle processes, HRIS systems, audits, and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and SOPs in line with regulatory changes.
  • Oversee HRIS systems and ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and analytics.
  • Generate HR dashboards and reports for leadership decision-making.
  • Lead automation and digitization initiatives for HR processes.
  • Coordinate with payroll and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage employee benefits programs including insurance, leave, and statutory benefits.
  • Handle queries related to compensation, benefits, and reimbursements.
  • Liaise with external vendors for background verification, insurance, and other HR services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth HR service delivery.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR operations.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure a seamless employee experience through efficient HR services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–12 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a lead or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HRIS systems, and payroll processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (SAP, Workday, etc.).
  • Experience in process improvement and automation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
