Full-Time, Temporary Position (maternity cover: 7 to 12 months)
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Position Summary
Deluxe is currently seeking a HR Generalist for maternity leave cover, undertaking a variety of duties across our Spain HR team.
Role and Responsibilities
Provide support to employees on daily queries regarding payroll, contracts, onboarding, HR system issues, time tracking, absence, and others
Manage monthly payroll for Spain and Italy
Be the point of contact for external and internal stakeholders like Finance, Facilities, payroll, health & safety providers, coordinating actions and providing support to the business
Maintain HR records and reports up to date, ensuring accuracy and reporting data on time
Keep track of recruitment needs and give support in the process for line managers
Onboarding new hirings/Offboard leavers
Manage contracts, renewals, letters, vacation balance, and other administrative tasks related;
Manage time tracking system, updates, corrections and reporting for payroll purposes.
Manage and maintain HRIS up to date with employee’s data changes, promotions, vacation balances, compensation changes and documentation;
Coordinate Safety & Health plan and measures to be implemented in all facilities.
Provide support on the implementation of global projects related to engagement, wellbeing, CSR, training, benefits, culture, diversity & inclusion among others.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a HR Coordination or People Operations, as well as:
Payroll experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working in a matrix complex organization with multiple systems and reporting lines.
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent Excel skills
Excellent communication skills
Extremely detail oriented and highly organised
Collaborative, resilient and adaptable
Workday knowledge would be a plus
