Jouw rol
Als HR Officer binnen de Sanoma Learning BeNe-organisatie ben je verantwoordelijk voor een vlotte uitvoering van de payroll, HR-administratieve processen en het ondersteunen van medewerkers via ons ticketsysteem. Je speelt een cruciale rol in het garanderen van operationele excellentie, datanauwkeurigheid en compliance binnen de HR-dienstverlening. Je maakt deel uit van het HR Operations-team BeNe en bent woonachtig in België of Nederland.
Jouw kerntaken
Payroll administratie
Verzorgen van de maandelijkse payroll conform cao en wettelijke vereisten.
Samenwerken met de externe payrollprovider om tijdige en correcte verwerking te garanderen.
Toezien op interne controles en compliance-trainingen rondom payroll.
HR Support & Administratie:
Eerste aanspreekpunt voor medewerkers en managers via het ticketsysteem.
Beheer van het HR-portaal met actuele beleidsdocumenten en personeelsinformatie.
Opstellen en beheren van documentatie binnen de employee lifecycle (contracten, onboarding, offboarding) via Workday.
Complexe dossiers escaleren naar HRBPs of Workday-specialisten.
Zorgdragen voor correcte en actuele HR-gegevens in Workday.
HR Procesoptimalisatie:
Sparringpartner zijn voor HR Business Partners bij projecten zoals talentmanagement en organisatieontwikkeling.
Intensief samenwerken met het Workday-team om HR-processen binnen de Sanoma-groep te optimaliseren.
Deelnemen aan HR-ontwikkelprojecten en collega’s in andere landen ondersteunen waar nodig.
Op de hoogte blijven van wetswijzigingen en processen hierop proactief aanpassen.
Wat verwachten we van jou?
Bachelor- of masterdiploma.
Ervaring in HR-administratie of een vergelijkbare functie, bij voorkeur in een complexe corporate omgeving.
Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met Nederlandse payrolladministratie.
Ervaring met Workday.
Grondige kennis van de Nederlandse arbeidswetgeving; kennis van Belgische arbeidswetgeving is een pluspunt.
Je woont in België of Nederland.
Proactief, servicegericht en discreet in het omgaan met vertrouwelijke informatie.
Kritisch denker met uitstekende communicatievaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels.

As an HR Officer for Sanoma Learning BeNe, you will be responsible for the smooth execution of payroll, HR administrative processes, and employee support through our ticketing system. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, data accuracy, and compliance across HR services. You will be part of the BeNe HR Operations team and must be based in Belgium or the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll administration
Manage monthly payroll activities in line with CLA and legal requirements.
Work with the external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Monitor internal controls and compliance training related to payroll.
HR Support & Administration:
Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries via the ticketing system.
Manage the HR portal, ensuring policies, updates, and employee information are clearly communicated.
Handle employee lifecycle documentation (contracts, onboarding, offboarding) in Workday.
Escalate complex cases to HRBPs or Workday specialists.
Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity in Workday.
HR Process Optimization:
Act as a sparring partner for HR Business Partners on projects such as talent management and organizational development.
Collaborate closely with the Workday team to streamline HR processes across the Sanoma group.
Participate in HR development projects and support HR colleagues across different countries when needed.
Stay up to date with legal changes and proactively adjust processes to remain compliant.
What do we expect from you?
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Experience in HR administration or a similar role, preferably in a complex corporate environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with Dutch payroll administration.
Knowledge and experience with Workday.
Solid understanding of Dutch labor law; knowledge of Belgian labor law is a plus.
You are living in Belgium or the Netherlands.
Proactive, service-minded, and trustworthy in handling confidential information.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Excellent Dutch and English communication skills (written and spoken).
