Provide excellent internal customer support to employees and leaders by managing core HR processes and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The HR Generalist administers day-to-day HR programs, maintains compliance, supports engagement, and strengthens the employee experience through consistency, communication, and collaboration. This role will assist in supporting our Spain employees so proficiency in speaking and writing in Spanish is required.

Essential Functions

        HRIS Administration
o   Maintain HRIS data integrity, including job changes, compensation adjustments, and terminations.
o   Audit HRIS records for accuracy and consistency across systems.
o   Generate and analyze HR dashboards and reports (e.g., turnover, engagement, headcount, and performance metrics).
o   Provide insights to HRBPs and leaders to identify trends and recommend data-informed actions.

        Employee Lifecycle Management (Onboarding, Offboarding, Transitions)
o   Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
o   Coordinate new hire communication, orientation scheduling, and IT/facilities setup.
o   Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements, policies, and labor laws for employee transitions.
o   Conduct exit interviews, summarize findings, and share insights with HRBPs to identify retention opportunities.
o   Continuously assess and recommend process improvements for efficiency and consistency.
  
        Total Rewards and Benefits Support
o   Serve as a contact for benefits and leave inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.
o   Support open enrollment communications, data validation, and system updates.
o   Assist with wellness and recognition initiatives and other benefit-related projects.
o   Partner with Finance and Compensation teams to ensure alignment between payroll, benefits, and reporting.

        Employee Relations, Engagement, and Culture
o   Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on general HR and policy inquiries, escalating complex issues appropriately.
o   Engage with employees to maintain ongoing pulse checks and build trusting relationships.
o   Support conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and employee relations documentation under HRBP guidance.
o   Partner with HRBPs to coordinate engagement, culture, and recognition programs that foster inclusion and belonging.

        Compliance and Policy Administration
o   Maintain and audit employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
o   Assist with HR audits, compliance tracking, and policy enforcement.
o   Collaborate with HR leadership to support policy updates and employee handbook revisions.

        Performance Management and HR Programs
o   Coordinate performance review cycles, including communication, system setup, and tracking completion rates.
o   Document and track performance concerns and development plans in collaboration with HRBPs.
o   Support HRBPs in ensuring consistent and fair application of performance management processes.
o   Provide recommendations for improving process efficiency and employee experience.

        HR Projects and Operational Support
o   Contribute to HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, DEI programs, and process improvement efforts.
o   Serve as a reliable administrative and project backup for HR team members when needed.
 
Education and Experience
 
Education:
        Required: High school diploma
        Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field
  
Experience:
        Required: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a human resources role in multiple disciplines
 
Certifications:
        Preferred: PHR or SHRM-CP highly preferred

        Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple concurrent HR processes.
        Demonstrates accountability, dependability, and initiative in completing high-volume work accurately and efficiently.
        Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
        Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
        Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining attention to detail.
