About the job

This role is a maternity cover starting from 1 March 2026 and continuously until the end of the year 2026. There may be a possibility of extension.

As a HR Consultant at HAY you refer directly to the Head of HR, and the role will play a key part in ensuring smooth HR operations, supporting both people leaders and employees, and contributing to an engaging employee experience across our locations in Denmark, as well as our European organizations.

You’ll coordinate HR processes such as onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations while maintaining accurate HR systems and providing guidance to all colleagues.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Coordination and execution of introduction day for new colleagues 
  • Manage and support recruitment, as well as the onboarding process
  • Manage relationships with external vendors such as LinkedIn and Jobindex
  • Maintain and update HR systems, mail groups and HR programs to ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare contracts for European colleagues and peer review of Danish contracts 
  • Maintain and update HR policies and intranet content
  • Provide training and guidance to new people leaders on the HR system (e.g. Workday and HR intranet page)
  • Assist in employee relations matters, supporting individual cases as needed
  • Act as first point of contact for HR-related administrative requests
  • Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding processes
  • Continuously optimize and improve HR processes and employee experience

Are you the HR Consultant we are looking for?

Role expectations

  • Structure comes natural to you, which is why you always keep a good overview
  • You have a natural understanding of the people surrounding you
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, service-oriented approach
  • Proven analytical skills with a data driven approach to problem solving
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • You are comfortable with technology and IT systems, and might even be a digital native
  • A few travel days a year to our Copenhagen office should be expected

Experience required

  • Ideally you have 1-3 years of experience from a similar role or from a recruitment role
  • Any previous experience with HR in an international context is a plus
  • Experience with the HR system ‘Workday’ is major advantage, but not essential
  • You are fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written
