HR Business Partner Consultant

What you'll do

The HR Business Partner Consultant acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the CTFS Contact Centre and Technology teams. This role supports the delivery of high-impact HR initiatives, employee relations strategies, and programs that align with current and future business priorities. The consultant will leverage expertise in HR disciplines to drive organizational effectiveness, foster employee engagement, and enable a culture of performance and inclusion.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and non-medical accommodations.

  • Collaborate with HRBP team and enterprise HR functions to implement HR programs and initiatives that support business objectives

  • Partner with employees and managers to address accommodation requests and ensure a supportive work environment.

  • Support leaders with empathy and compassion during critical moments that matter.

  • Generate and analyze reports to monitor organizational health and measure HR program effectiveness.

  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to inform people strategies.

  • Ensure adherence to employment legislation and internal policies in all HR practices.

  • Support workplace investigations in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and facilitate leadership development opportunities.

  • Assist in designing and executing change management activities to enable successful adoption of HR initiatives.

What you bring

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in data interpretation and reporting.

  • Knowledge of HR practices across the employee lifecycle (workforce planning, talent management, compensation, succession).

  • Familiarity with provincial and federal employment legislation; understanding of contact centre operations is an asset.

  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems preferred.

  • High degree of adaptability, problem-solving skills, and comfort with ambiguity.

  • Demonstrated empathy, trustworthiness, and innovative thinking.

  • Requirement to work on-site 4 days per week at Welland or Oakville.
