Job Description: Responsible for providing a full range of Human Resource strategic support to a diverse group in Taiwan. Serves as consultant and business partner to HR programs including organizational/team development and effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management, talent management and leadership development, employee engagement, change management, culture and employee communications. Works closely with the Country Manager to finalize, implement and regular review of site strategic plans and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Advice and coach senior managers on matters relating to organizational development/effectiveness, i.e. performance planning, organizational design, cultural and process-oriented perspective, and workforce planning.
  • Drives best in class HR practices and all operational HR processes including staffing, compensation and benefits administration, leadership and employee development, employee relations, succession planning and performance management process.
  • Partners with leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, talent review, and talent development programs, including follow on actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement HR plans and programs that support business strategy, plans and objectives.
  • Develop and guides HR policies and practices.
  • Promote and support organizational change.
  • Brokers and ensure the delivery of HR support and services
  • Develop trust and credibility within the organization and other departments in ADI through HR competence and the highest levels of integrity.
  • Counsel employees concerning work related problems
  • Contributes to the achievement of business plans.
  • Perform workforce analysis utilizing available data such as employee survey results; workforce demographic data; retention statistics etc. to identify issues and trends in the business and align with regional BPs and SME’s to implement best practices and solutions to identified issues.
  • Collaborate with HR Connections and SMEs to deliver HR services to our employees that align with ADI’s business needs, employee’s interests and local legislation.
  • Take leadership in site management and advise HR operations team about local regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any bachelor’s degree or above with minimum of seven years relevant Human Resources experience. Semiconductor experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of all HR functions, especially leadership development, employee engagement, conflict management, dispute and grievance management.
  • Design and implementation of employee engagement programs
  • Skills in influencing, coaching, counseling and advising senior leadership team. Provide proactive counsel around key business issues using strong business acumen
  • Solid knowledge and demonstration of Taiwan labor law and local government requirements
  • Ability to interface with government agencies and other external organization related to labor
  • Effective program/project management
  • Ability to think strategically, apply sound judgement challenge status quo and cope with ambiguity.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with different levels of executives, managers and employees
  • Team player: able to develop the effective partnerships with colleagues and work across boundaries and functions
  • Demonstrates a bias for action and history of successfully delivering results, challenging the status quo and driving decision making and execution
  • Self-starter, proactive, requiring minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to  communicate and present in Taiwan and English (both verbal and written)
