Job Summary:
As an HR Benefits Analysts you will work on a highly collaborative HR team providing administration of employee benefit programs, customer service for employee benefit questions and vendor issues, assistance with regulatory compliance, and executing benefits special projects.
Customer service (35%): Provide responsive and caring support for calls that cannot be answered by our call center or HR Direct team for all inquiries on Standard’s benefits plans and programs.
Benefits administration and auditing (35%): Process employee transactions and data requests related to various benefits plans and programs. Audit automated and manual data entry processes for both internal and external auditing as well as government reporting purposes.
Projects (15-20%): Key member of project teams for annual open enrollment and benefit/vendor implementations.
Program ownership (0-10%): May own and have primary administration responsibility for one or more benefit programs (e.g. care.com, wellness).
Employee education (5%): Conducts Benefits overview for New Employee Orientation, open enrollment, ad hoc for other purposes throughout the year, and other duties as assigned.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
High School Diploma is required.
2 years of HR benefits experience.
1 year of experience working with Excel (knowledge of formulas, including V Lookup and Pivot tables).
Handling claims escalations for employee benefits.
Presenting expertise to large audiences.
Process improvement for employee benefits workflows.
Understanding with HRIS systems and how data flows. Workday experience is preferred.
Vendor management experience is preferred.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.
The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range:
$64,250.00 - $94,000.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
