About the location:

Your own private paradise on a lush coral island. On Desroches Island, there is nothing to distract you from tranquillity, save for the sound of birds singing and an ocean breeze that invites you to come a little closer. We’re the only resort on this captivating coral island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, where the beaches belong to no one and everyone at the same time. Our rustic villas and suites are intimate retreats and will make you feel like a castaway who has struck gold.

To ensure, cleanliness of the guest units’ interior and exterior, including guest patios, balconies, walkways, pathways, trash rooms and linen closets.  Other responsibilities include stocking of linen rooms and cleaning storage areas.  Picks-up and delivery of guest request items, whilst removing linen, deep cleaning, performing of special projects and giving assistance to Housekeepers in moving heavy objects in guest rooms. 

 

  • Check guest walkways for paper, insects, debris, cigarette butts, room service items, etc.  Check all walls sconces for burnt out light bulbs.  Sweep and damp mop floors. Clean room number signs, and ashtrays  

  • Stocks Linen Storage Rooms with supplies and amenities.  Empties garbage and dirty linen from guest residences and takes it down to Laundry 

  • Pick up and deliver guest request items on a timely basis from housekeeping or pantry and calling them in as complete once they have been delivered.  

  • Assists Housekeepers as required. Helps move beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes.   

  • Adheres to the established standard of safety, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies. 

  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact 

  • Pick-up work assignments from the Housekeeping Department, and review for any questions.  Sign in/out the payroll sheet.  Report to assigned areas(s) with required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.  

  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
