Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Labor Pool - Hospitalist / Internal Medicine Physician to serve in a hybrid role that combines hospitalist responsibilities with outpatient primary care. You will join our amazing team at our Doctors' Hospital in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Hybrid Hospitalist / Outpatient Physician

This hybrid position offers variety, impact, and long-term patient relationships—all within a supportive, forward-thinking health system.

Your Role Will Include:

• Inpatient hospitalist duties: rounding, admissions, discharge planning
• Outpatient care: chronic disease management, preventive care, wellness visits
• Multidisciplinary collaboration across care settings
• Participation in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ post-residency experience
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia
• DEA registration

• Management of acute and chronic conditions
• Annual wellness exams and physicals
• Treatment of diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, weight management
• Inpatient care including admissions, rounding, and discharge planning
• Coordination with specialists and support staff to ensure seamless transitions of care
