Hospital Manager for VCA Noah's Ark

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Veterinary professional to join our leadership team as the Hospital Manager at VCA Noah's Ark.

About the Role

The Hospital Manager will work closely with the Medical Director and the Regional Field Leadership team. The Hospital Manager is responsible for leadership, operational excellence, and business growth. You’ll ensure that the hospital remains a place where pets receive the highest level of care and clients feel valued and understood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the veterinary, technical, and client service teams to achieve excellence in medical quality and client experience.

  • Partner with the Medical Director and Regional Leadership to establish goals, policies, and strategic plans that promote hospital growth and efficiency.

  • Oversee all aspects of staffing, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and team development.

  • Review financial performance; identify opportunities to increase revenue, manage expenses, and meet or exceed budget expectations.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture that aligns with VCA’s Core Values.

  • Ensure compliance with medical recordkeeping, safety protocols, and client communication standards.

  • Represent the hospital and VCA positively within the community and professional veterinary network.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of leadership experience in the veterinary industry, customer service, financial, or business management.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to delegate and achieve results.

  • Knowledge of marketing, sales, and client retention strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across diverse audiences.

  • Friendly attitude and genuine passion for pets and people.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and poise.
