Position Purpose
The Lead Data and Quality Analyst is an experienced expert in the area of Regulatory Quality and Performance who leads and collaborates with stakeholders to oversee that appropriate data collection and monitoring systems are in place to promote quality care, while meeting regulatory requirements
What you will do
Function as the expert resource for supporting disciplines internal and external to the organization
Collect required data to support the performance activities of the 3 hospitals, St. Francis Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and Johnson Memorial and the clinical service lines
Collect data for submission to national registries and the generation of standard reports for appropriate stakeholders
Gather and organize data from a variety of clinical sources, including retrospective and concurrent record review accomplishing data acquisition in accordance with timelines
Communicate when issues pertaining to data quality of clinical care issues arise; prepare reports and scorecards, and maintain a level of data acquisition reliability and accuracy that meets standards
Collaborate with IT and the EPIC build teams to ensure compliance with Hospital Quality Reporting implementations including Quality Reporting Document architectures
Minimum Qualifications
Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut preferred
Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum five years’ experience in quality improvement, data collection and analysis or utilization management in a hospital setting required
Proficiency in data collection and data analysis for quality and safety performance improvement
Must be well versed in statistics, data analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
