Are you an experienced and dependable accounting professional who thrives in a structured yet fast-moving environment? We’re seeking a Home-Based Accounting Clerk to join our DCX team and support our U.S.-based client. In this role, you will handle full-cycle accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a meticulous approach to accuracy, reconciliation, and financial data validation.

  • Organized and Efficient: Excellent time management and prioritization skills, capable of handling multiple accounting tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Financially Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of accounting regulations, bookkeeping standards, AP/AR principles, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.

  • Customer-Focused and Reliable: Maintains professionalism and reliability when managing vendor relationships, coordinating with departments, and supporting client operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Full cycle of accounting, including bank reconciliation, AP and AR.

  • Work closely with operational departments to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.

  • Ability to multitask and complete work effectively with full attention to detail.

  • Major responsibilities and daily activities.

  • Recording AP invoices, payments, and reconciliation of AP balances for vendors.

  • Managing open POs in QuickBooks Online to ensure the integrity of the outstanding orders.

  • Work with vendors to negotiate terms, payments, and credit limits

  • Managing aging and integrity of AP sub-ledger.

  • AR payment processing and recording in QuickBooks Online.

  • AR credit notes processing.

  • Bank account monthly reconciliation.

  • Monthly recording and reconciliation of credit card transactions.

  • GL accounts reconciliation.

  • US sales tax monthly reporting.

  • Payroll tax monthly reporting.

  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.

  • Assist the controller with the monthly book closing.

  • Assisting team members and managers as required.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.  

  • Experience: 1-3 years of General Accounting experience or equivalent. 

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 

  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.  

  • Technical Skills:

    • Highly proficient in using QuickBooks.

    • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software.

    • Strong working knowledge of using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc. 

    • Maintaining high accuracy in financial records and attention to detail in every aspect of the job. 

    • Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks to meet payment deadlines. 

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are a plus but not required. 

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary Range: PHP 40,000 – 43,000

  • Industry: Promotional

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (USA)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
