London/Cardiff/UK Remote | 💰£43,400 - £58,700 + Benefits  | Hear from the team ✨

We’re looking for a Hiring Operations Analyst to support our busy hiring function at Monzo. This is the ideal role for someone who is passionate about the impact of Data, and loves spotting opportunities to make hiring processes and projects smoother, slicker, and more efficient for everyone involved.

⭐About the role

You’ll be the only member of the Hiring Team solely dedicated to project and operational work. You’ll work closely with our Hiring Operations Lead as well as Recruiters, Recruiting Leads, Hiring Coordinators and Sourcers (as well as others across the business) to support and continuously improve our hiring processes. You’ll enable us to hire future Monzonauts quickly, efficiently and at scale, making sure we’re always giving a delightful candidate experience.

As Hiring Operations Analyst, you’ll have a particular focus on data and analytics, with a skill for pulling, interpreting & cleaning data before making it easily accessible in dashboards. You’ll also spend time focussing on vendor management and improving candidate experience.

🔑 You’ll play a key role by...

  • Answering hiring data queries from teams around the business.
  • Promoting data integrity across the Hiring team and People Collective, and up-skilling others so we know we’re always working with accurate data.
  • Working closely with the Hiring Operations Lead to identify goals, projects, ways of working and priorities for the team.
  • Getting close to our hiring processes in Business, Tech, Exec and Customer Operations and pro-actively finding ways to improve them, as well as supporting others to implement changes themselves.
  • Up-skilling and training the Hiring team in our tools, ways of working and hiring processes.
  • Designing, contributing to and iterating on the headcount management process.
  • Representing Hiring in audits and managing incidents to keep Monzo growing safely and securely.
  • Working with our People Tech team to keep our integrations working efficiently.
  • Managing vendor relationships for tools like Greenhouse, Security Watchdog, GoodTime, and Enboarder.

The kinds of projects the Hiring Operations Analyst could focus on include:

  • Supporting the contract renewal of our existing tools & systems
  • Identifying gaps in the tools and systems we use in Hiring, with a focus on using AI to enhance the hiring process and enable our teams to make quicker & better informed (human) decisions
  • Improving the efficiency, breadth and accuracy of our hiring data dashboards
  • Partnering with People Tech to automate the manual parts of our processes
  • Working with Hiring Coordinators & Recruiters to standardise ways of working across the team
  • Documenting our team’s processes (including roles & responsibilities) and making sure we know they’re always up to date

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You have considerable experience working in an operational role with a focus on the candidate experience.
  • You’ve got advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel and experience in data manipulation and visualisation, including in Looker and Looker Studio. You have experience bringing together data from multiple places into one usable source so that other team members can self-serve.
  • You’ve got an analytical mind and love to use data to identify and solve problems and inform decisions.
  • You’ve got experience managing multiple People systems and navigating the integrations and data flow between them all, including an ATS like Greenhouse
  • You have experience of managing multiple recruitment-related projects from initial idea to implementation and beyond.
  • You’re super organised and having a to-do list and project plan excites you.
  • You have high attention to detail and a knack for getting things right first time.
  • You’re able to prioritise and re-prioritise at a moment’s notice.
