BASIC FUNCTION: 
The System Administrator/Helpdesk Coordinator for Faculty Success (FS) is responsible for planning and implementing of Faculty Success and providing training and support to faculty across schools and colleges to use Faculty Success for faculty actions throughout the calendar year. This position reports to the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs.

SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:
The System Administrator/Helpdesk Coordinator is responsible for supervising other helpdesk and training staff.

NATURE AND SCOPE: 
Internal contacts include administrators, faculty, and staff at Howard University. External contacts include faculty candidates

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop data solutions to support unit goals and serve as a point of contact for faculty support.   

Mine, process, and summarize data for Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development activities and initiatives.

Convert data into readily understood insights to lead to informed decisions.

Develops and maintains proficiency in relevant software and databases to effectively serve as a resource in each unit for data sourcing.

Ensures data quality and integrity.

Confer with and advise staff, faculty, and others to provide technical advice, problem-solving assistance, and answers to questions. Refer unfamiliar issues to appropriate department personnel.

   Perform other related duties as assigned.
