Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, is seeking an expert Helium Operations Technician for its Middletown, OH facility.

As a Helium Operations Technician, you will work in a plant environment performing critical tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role involves filling high-pressure gaseous helium cylinders, helium and hydrogen tube trailers, and cryogenic helium and nitrogen containers.

We are seeking a safety-focused individual who takes ownership of basic safety responsibilities and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill high-pressure gaseous helium cylinders and helium/hydrogen tube trailers.
  • Fill cryogenic helium and nitrogen containers.
  • Perform product analysis to ensure quality standards.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and promote safe work habits.
  • Support team operations and maintain a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Comfortable working 8-hour rotating shifts and weekends.
  • Strong dedication to safety and teamwork.
  • Military, electrical, instrument, or mechanical training is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in a plant environment.
