Heavy Mobile Equipment Project Manager (f/m/d)

For our Department Global Competence Center Aggregates, we are looking for a Heavy-Mobile-Equipment (HME) Project Manager (f/m/d). As our HME Project Manager, you will lead HME related projects on local and global level for all business lines to drive fleet efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across strategic sites worldwide.

The role is based at our Headquarter in Heidelberg Germany, and reports to the HME Manager of Global Competence Center Aggregates.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

  • Conduct thorough assessments of fleet performance and condition to ensure operational excellence.

  • Lead fleet rightsizing to determine the best machine for the task and contribute to the development of technical specifications for equipment procurement.

  • Identify and implement optimization opportunities through targeted visits to globally significant locations.

  • Assist the Global HME Manager with tasks to optimize, analyze and improve the fleet management program

  • Analyze telematic and other HME data, like oil samples, to determine potential for improvement and start projects to improve the respective situation

  • Lead or support initiatives in Greenfield and Brownfield environments, bringing innovation and structure to complex challenges.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong understanding of operational requirements and challenges in mining and quarry environments.

  • Skilled in identifying inefficiencies and uncovering opportunities for improvement through data analysis and on-site observation.

  • Practical, results-driven approach to driving change and implementing solutions effectively on the ground.

  • Experience with HME selection, utilization, and lifecycle management.

  • Skilled in identifying inefficiencies and uncovering opportunities for improvement through data analysis and on-site observation.

  • Effective in managing stakeholder expectations, communication in a team environment

  • Willing to travel across global countries as required

  • At least a Bachelors degree in Engineering/ or relevant trade qualifications

  • 3 years business experience in similar roles is preferred

  • Fluent in English language skills, German would be an advantage
