We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our health systems informatics initiatives. This role entails analyzing system requirements and business processes to ensure alignment with operational goals. Responsibilities include resolving application performance issues, developing diagnostic procedures, and modifying workflows to address technical challenges. The candidate will also participate in the upgrade and optimization of the electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance clinical and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve application performance issues and develop diagnostic procedures. Create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing, efficient troubleshooting, and off-hours support. Assist with department moves, third-party loads, and other tasks as assigned under general supervision. Support system upgrades and operational efforts that contribute to the stability and growth of the health system.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, health informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of IT or applications development experience in a healthcare setting.
Epic certification preferred but not required; relevant experience is encouraged.
Knowledge of Windows server support, PowerShell scripting, or SQL query development is a plus.
