The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Trade Marketing to lead and shape the trade marketing strategy for our organization. This role is pivotal in driving category development, channel development, and revenue growth management (RGM). You will set the direction for trade marketing initiatives, lead annual planning processes, and ensure seamless execution across all channels to deliver sales growth, market share, and shopper engagement.
What You’ll Do
Lead Annual Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes.
Develop and execute trade channel strategies to drive sales growth, share growth, and new user recruitment.
Design and implement Retail Performance Standards (RPS) and category management activities.
Own pricing and promotion strategies, trade spend management and ensure effective adoption of trade spend systems (Exceedra).
Drive GTM innovation and capability building for the trade marketing team.
Lead key stakeholder engagement, internal reviews, and external partnerships with retailers and distributors.
Build organizational capability through coaching, knowledge sharing, and fostering an agile team culture.
Act as guardian of trade sales policies, compliance, and pricing integrity.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Extensive experience in trade marketing, category management, and channel/customer management (preferably in Modern Retail and General Trade).
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage multi-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Expertise in pricing strategy, trade fund management, and financial acumen.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in GTM innovation and capability building.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
