As our Head of Tetra Core Platform SW, you will lead a highly skilled team responsible for the virtualized platform services of our critical Tetra network solutions. Your leadership will be pivotal in evolving our virtualized platform and accelerating the development of essential network functions.

In this role, we need a visionary and experienced leader specialized in Virtualized Core Network Platforms, Cloud-Native Architectures, and critical Communication Software Development.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead, mentor and motivate the Tetra Core Platform SW team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Competence development for the team to meet the company roadmap

• Short and long term resource management including both internal and external resources for the project needs. Reporting the utilization of resources on a regular basis.

• Collaborate closely with product management, architecture, project management and other teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and implementations. Deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

• Contribute and plan the budget together with the Cost Center manager.

What We Expect From You:

• Proven Leadership Experience in managing and mentoring software development teams, ideally within a critical communications or telecommunications environment.

• Deep technical expertise in virtualization technologies, specifically KVM/oVirt/RHHIV, and significant hands-on experience or architectural understanding of Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and OpenShift for Virtualization (OCP-V).

• Excellent understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to drive modern software development practices (CI/CD, DevOps).

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical migrations and architectural transitions.

• A mindset combined with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Tetra Core Platform Software Team

This team is responsible for the entire virtualized platform development as well as the Tetra essential core network components—such as the Tetra Digital Switching and Dispatcher etc. as Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) on top of this platform. The team consists of highly skilled designers and specialists in their own areas.The team is one of key contributors to ensure our products are developed and delivered to our customers with high quality.
