Job Description

The Head of National Accounts, Business Development will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of BOWS’ distribution relationships across the U.S. wirehouse and independent broker-dealer (IBD) channels.

This individual will lead the national accounts team, spearhead key platform negotiations, deepen senior-level relationships with intermediary partners, and collaborate closely with regional sales leadership to drive asset growth and brand positioning.

The ideal candidate will possess deep industry experience, strong strategic and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving growth through platform engagement and advisor distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national strategy to expand relationships with key wirehouse and bank platforms, driving revenue growth and market share in alignment with firmwide goals and priorities.

  • Lead the sales process with national wirehouse firms to increase product adoption,  deepen partnerships, identify new business opportunities and advisor engagement.

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for senior platform executives, research teams, and due diligence officers.

  • Secure new platform approvals, selling agreements, and product placements across key wealth management channels.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on product and solution priorities, and provide feedback from national accounts to influence development, marketing and distribution initiatives.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and legal teams to support platform engagement and new product launches.

  • Work with external and internal sales teams to convert platform access into advisor adoption and sales growth.

  • Track platform activity, fund flows, and key metrics to refine strategy and optimize performance.

  • Represent the firm externally at industry events, conferences, and partner firm meetings to build brand visibility.

  • Lead and mentor the National Accounts team to deliver best-in-class relationship management and sales execution.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management distribution, with significant national account or platform leadership experience.

  • Deep understanding of intermediary distribution within wirehouse and IBD channels

  • Proven success in building and managing senior-level relationships and expanding distribution partnerships.

  • Demonstrated expertise in alternative investments (e.g., private credit, real estate, infrastructure, or interval funds).

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution and leadership capabilities.

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) required; Series 24 and designations such as CAIA, CIMA, or CFA preferred.
