About the role
As our Head of Key Account Management, you will:
- Shape and execute a forward-thinking strategy to deliver transformational growth across all key accounts.
- Anticipate shifts in the retail landscape, shopper behaviour, and competitor activity, developing robust business plans to ensure sustained profitability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including commercial, finance, operations, and group functions—to align retailer strategies with departmental goals.
- Deliver sales and profitability targets in line with budgets by analysing customer P&Ls and setting effective promotional objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the promotional planning cycle, managing budgets to align forecasts with retail activity.
- Uphold exceptional standards of Dyson brand execution both online and in-store, maximising shopper engagement through effective category management.
- Lead impactful retailer presentations and conduct regular face-to-face meetings with retailer commercial teams.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing team by setting clear targets, providing ongoing feedback, and nurturing career growth.
- Influence key internal and external stakeholders, championing collaborative ways of working and proactively addressing challenges.
- Play a crucial role in networking and collaborating across EMEA account management teams, sharing best practices to drive collective success.
About you
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
- Proven leadership experience in building and developing high-performing account management or sales teams.
- At least eight years’ experience in account management, with involvement in senior-level negotiations.
- Strong track record in budget management and forecasting across diverse product portfolios.
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with confidence in delivering compelling presentations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, combined with strong analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, with a history of building and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative mindset with genuine drive and enthusiasm.
- Inspiring people management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage your team.
- Resilience under pressure and adeptness at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
