JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- The incumbent will be responsible meeting the agreed and committed topline plans for the year for each category / brands and beating market share objectives
- Driving a P&L (top line and bottom line)
- Accountable for budgeting, business planning, sales force organization.
- Maintaining control of operating budget, delivering both top line and bottom line;
- Direct marketing and sales activities to ensure that short and long range sales volumes and projects are achieved;
- Collaborating with product development team to implement product modifications or improvements to product line.
- Life Cycle management which anticipate and serve a customer need/solution approach for brands
- Leading commercial discussions with Business Development teams to forge new opportunities or initiate new business teams to develop product supply and delivery;
- Overseeing the development of sales processes and pricing models;
- Developing and implementing short and long range sales and marketing plans;
- Formulating marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit;
- Identifying new markets, customer and geographies and applications to assure volume growth;
- Observing and promoting all Abbott compliance and local country regulatory requirements as defined per
applicable regulations, rules and procedures established by the Company, and notifying any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority;
- Motivating marketing and sales staff. Coaching and mentoring subordinates and appraising subordinate performance;
- Assuring that all assigned personnel have the appropriate training and qualification to perform all duties and responsibilities
- Complying with own training requirements to perform duties of own job.

Education: Graduate / Post Graduate with an ability to understand therapy areas. MBA from an institute of repute.
Experience: 10-15 years in Sales + Marketing management in relevant therapy and/or other chronic therapy areas. High scientific orientation
