Job Details:

This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.  Successful candidates will perform all processing duties as assigned, perform sanitation to clean processing equipment, and receive training as required.

Requirements:

Standing for 8 to 10 hours per day

Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.

Includes lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, climbing, bending, reaching, rolling buggies

Able to work in wet and/or humid conditions.

Able to work in an environment where the noise level is usually loud.

Wear all PPE’s as required

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. until processing is complete.  Wednesdays are rotational and will be required to work when scheduled.

Compensation: $17.10/hr.

  • Accepting Rehires: Yes
  • 3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.
  • Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
