The role will focus primarily on legal and regulatory matters relating to Columbia Threadneedle Investments’ asset management business and in particular its registered funds, regardless of jurisdiction, offering documents. Specific responsibilities include:
Manage the maintenance of Columbia Threadneedle Investment Funds’ home state prospectuses and filing of Columbia Threadneedle Investment Funds’ prospectuses and ancillary documents in host state jurisdictions across EMEA and APAC including arranging of translations and country specific documents as well as liaising with external counsel and representative agents as well as informing internal stakeholders of progress and presenting as necessary at internal meetings.
Managing share class and sub-fund registration and de-registrations across EMEA and APAC, including preparation of notification packages with country specific requirements and updating internal stakeholders of progress as well as keeping internal records up to date.
Filling of KIDs in multiple jurisdictions across EMEA.
Drafting non-disclosure agreements relating to regulatory reporting and portfolio holdings release for clients and recording progress in internal record keeping system.
Working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain existing and open new sub-custody accounts for Columbia Threadneedle Investments funds’ in multiple jurisdictions.
Assisting where required in work relating to new fund launches/closure.
Assisting where required on legal projects relating to regulatory work and related requirements.
General research support to the Retail Funds and Distribution Team.
Key Capabilities:

Working knowledge of UCITS funds and the global asset management industry

Experience working within a global financial services or asset management company
