About the Team


We’re a small, sharp in-house creative team based in our London office. Our focus is on crafting a clear, distinct visual language for Nothing, ensuring every touchpoint—from a product box to a global social post—feels like us. We move fast because we’re small and independent, meaning every designer here has a direct line to our co-founders and product teams. Right now, we’re focused on solving the hard problem of maintaining visual consistency and clarity while we scale into new global markets and launch complex new product categories. What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of mid-size projects from the initial concept through to final delivery, independently art directing and managing the creative process with minimal oversight.
  • Bring the Nothing brand to life through bold, consistent, and refined visual design across all channels.
  • Support the development and maintenance of our brand guidelines and design systems to ensure our open and direct ethos is clear in every visual execution.
  • Translate campaign concepts into cohesive visual executions that work across multiple internal and external touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors, copywriters, and product designers to ensure a unified and expressive brand experience.
  • Design for a wide range of channels, including social media, web, email, PR, retail, packaging, and internal communications.
  • Work with motion designers to develop engaging storyboards and assets for animated content.

 

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in a graphic design role, ideally with a focus on tech, fashion, or a lifestyle brand, or a top-tier creative agency.
  • A portfolio that clearly demonstrates systems thinking, strong layout design, expressive typography, and brand storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma; experience with motion tools (e.g., After Effects) is a valuable plus.
  • You are a self-starter who demonstrates ownership by proactively driving projects forward and managing your workload without needing constant supervision.
  • A pragmatic approach to design, capable of balancing ambitious creative vision with fast-paced timelines and evolving product priorities.
  • A sharp eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence in typography, visual hierarchy, and composition.
  • Strong communication skills, with the directness and confidence to present and defend your design ideas to internal stakeholders.

  • Location: London (Kings Cross & Farringdon offices).
  • Working Pattern: This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days a week). We move fast, and that means being physically present. We design flexibility around personal needs, but we focus on the magic that sparks when we’re all in the same room.
  • Commute: We ask that you live within a 60-minute commute of your home office location.
