The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a Government & Capital Property Manager (level K) to support the BGS Property Teams in Long Beach CA, or one of the other locations listed and support the Global Warehousing Teams in Atlanta GA and Oklahoma City OK. Additional sites may be added as needed.
This position has the responsibility for the effective and compliant management of all U.S. Government approved Property Systems for Government Property Management. The position also has responsibility for developing, implementing, and replicating streamlined processes and enhanced utilization of automated improvements to gain efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to create and maintain partnerships with customers and stakeholders affecting the Property Management Business System.
Position Responsibilities
Manages employees who develop, coordinate and implement property management strategies and control activities
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Developing and maintaining business relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, Business Unit counterparts, partners, auditors and direct reports as well as monitoring metrics and self-assessment results to ensure continuous compliance
Works with Government (i.e. DCMA, DCAA, etc.) Property Administrators to address issues timely and escalate when required to ensure compliant results
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees

This individual will need excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal, external and cross-functional business partners
Basic Qualifications
Able to travel 70% of the time
More than 5 years of experience and/or training in FAR and DFARS compliance as it relates to the Property Management Business System
More than 5 years of experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment
More than 5 years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts
More than 5 years of experience managing Government or Capital Property
More than 3 years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
More than 3 years of experience leading project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables
More than 3 years of experience creating project schedules which identify time frames for key project milestones
More than 5 years of experience managing Government or Capital Property
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer to have a certification issued by the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
Prefer applicants to have previous Leadership experience
Surveillance and Compliance Audits
Prefer applicants to have Data Analytics experience
Preferred to have a solid background mentoring fellow coworkers
5+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
Prefer to have a solid background in team collaboration
More than 5 years of experience managing Government or Capital Property
Prefer applicants have experience with the GOLD Property Management System
